Coffman Associates is an industry leader in airport noise compatibility planning.  We have conducted 70 noise studies prepared under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 150 (over 20 percent of all 14 CFR Part 150 Noise Compatibility Studies prepared with federal grants).  Our experience includes 47 Part 150 Studies at commercial service airports and 23 Part 150 Studies for general aviation airports.  Coffman Associates’ experience and success in this type of planning is far beyond that of any other firm and is indicative of our commitment and dedication to mitigating the effects of aircraft noise in the vicinity of our nation’s airports.

In addition to the 70 Part 150 studies described above, our firm has conducted comprehensive noise and land use analyses such as Airport Noise Control and Land Use Compatibility  (ANCLUC) and Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) studies at more than 50 other airports.  Our noise and land use compatibility experience also extends across the more than 200 environmental studies that we have completed since 1979, each of which involves aircraft noise and land use compatibility analyses.
