The Meadows Field Airport Part 150 Study update was conducted
concurrently with an Airport Master Plan Update. The County’s
goal for the Part 150 Update was to continue the Airport’s
compatibility in the surrounding community given the recent opening of
the new terminal building, recent increase in commercial service
operations, and the extension to the parallel general aviation
runway. Primary issues included maintaining the compatible
departure corridor to the northeast of the airport and review of the
recommended noise abatement procedures from the previous noise
compatibility program.
