Owned and operated by the City of Dallas Aviation
Department, the recently renamed Dallas Executive Airport serves as a
reliever airport to the Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport's. Dallas Executive Airport has been operational for
over 40 years and has been underdeveloped for the last ten years. The goal
of the Airport Master Plan was to provide the City of Dallas with a
balanced plan which is aimed at better meeting the needs of the corporate
operators utilizing the airport. The plan also provides alternatives for
meeting FAA standards for Runway Safety Areas.
