  • Davenport Municipal Airport

Davenport Municipal Airport is classified as a reliever airport for the Quad City metropolitan area. The airport has two runways with Runway 15-33 the longest at 5,501 feet. Several businesses and the Iowa Air National Guard are located on the airport. The Airport Master Plan identified the need to extend Runway 15-33 to 6,266 feet to better serve the growing corporate aircraft fleet and potential cargo operators. In order to extend the runway two local roads have been planned to be re-routed. The plan required close coordination with the City of Davenport, City of Eldridge, and Scott County.
