  • Chippawa Valley Regional Airport

Chippewa Valley Regional Airport is a primary commercial service airport in West Central Wisconsin. The airport is 100 miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and faces the type of service area problems inherent with a smaller market located within two hours of a major hub. The airport also experiences significant amount of corporate traffic. Key issues included compliance airfield design standards and preparation of the airport for future aviation opportunities in commercial service, general aviation, and air cargo. The plan addresses runway safety area and airfield circulation issues. The Terminal and Land Use Development Plans are designed to consider function, cost, as well as compatibility with neighboring uses.
