The master plan focused on airfield capacity improvements including a parallel runway and designated training patterns for helicopters. Landside plans focused on business jet activity at the airport including extensive redevelopment of the terminal area. The Land Use Compatibility Study was completed in cooperation with local city and county government to develop strategies to protect the airport from incompatible development and reduce the airport’s impact on the community.
