  • Little Rock National Airport

Rapid growth in passenger enplanements due to service by low-fare carriers, and the development of aircraft maintenance facilities for Raytheon have created traffic, circulation and parking demands in the terminal area. While the airport has an effective parallel runway system, a third runway on the airfield was evaluated for possible extensions/relocations. Development of new air cargo facilities was also examined to segregate the activity from commercial passenger operations.
