The Marana Regional Airport is located in the northern portion of the
Tucson metropolitan area. This rapidly developing community was
concerned about the continued viability of one if it’s primary economic
engines, the airport. This concern was addressed in the Part 150
Study through overlay zoning, fair disclosure regulations and
subdivision regulation amendments. An extensive public process
designed to educate the area residents on the process and
recommendations was done throughout the study.
