In examining the existing and future capabilities of
A. L. Mangham, Jr. Regional Airport, specific attention was given to
increasing the length and improving the instrument approach capabilities of
the primary runway, and expanding all general aviation and commercial
service facilities. The resulting plan provided a comprehensive guide for
airfield and landside improvements with a coordinating financial plan for
orderly project implementation.
