Scottsdale Airport is located in the Phoenix Metropolitan
Area and serves as a reliever to Sky Harbor International Airport. The
airport serves nearly 400 based aircraft and 169,000 annual operations.
With potential for commuter air service, the activity will require the
development of a new commercial service terminal facility, as well as ancillary
facilities to support that activity. Facility upgrades such as GPS approaches,
increased runway width, and continued support of the industrial airpark
were provided in the planning process.
