  • Show Low Regional Airport

Show Low Regional Airport is a nonprimary commercial service airport located in northeastern Arizona and has an essential air service route to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The Master Plan completed a runway safety area determination for Runway 6-24 following FAA Order 5200.8, Runway Safety Area Program. This determination included plans to shift and extend the primary runway to meet runway safety area standards. Other recommendations of the Master Plan including constructing a new crosswind runway to improve wind coverage, and installing an instrument landing system (ILS), automated weather observation system, and additional visual approach lighting. The landside plan designated an area for commercial/industrial development and expanded hangar storage facilities. Other improvements were planned to allow the airport to serve as an interim fire tanker base during wildfire events.
