Once served by commuter airlines, Draughon-Miller
Central Texas Regional Airport is now a thriving general aviation airport.
The Airport Master Plan analyzed the potential for the return of commercial
service as well as the increasing trend of corporate aircraft activity.
Other planning challenges included landside development for future general
aviation, commercial, and helicopter facilities. The resultant plan
provides the City with a development schedule which will accommodate the
needs of all aviation elements in an orderly fashion.
