Airport serves as a reliever to General Mitchell International Airport.
Both airports are operated by Milwaukee County. As a towered facility Strategic
Development and with dual parallel runways, it plays an important role
in serving general aviation needs in the metropolitan area. While extremely
constrained by adjacent development, the airport continues to provide essential
aviation basing needs for nearby businesses.
