  • Ennis Master Plan

Located in the rapidly expanding southeastern portion of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, the City of Ennis is experiencing significant industrial and commercial growth. The City’s strong socioeconomic base requires the availability of a highly functional general aviation airport. The current Ennis Municipal Airport, however, does not satisfy the needs of corporate aircraft and due to constraining factors cannot be expanded to serve in this role. As a result, the City selected Coffman Associates to prepare a Feasibility Study which confirmed the need for a highly functional airport required to meet the City’s industrial and commercial base. The second phase of the planning process included the development of a Site Selection Study. Finally, on the next Airport Master Plan Study and Environmental Assessment the selected site was completed.
